DISCOVER INTERESTING WINES FROM AROUND THE WORLD.

Our knowledgeable wine team is always here to share as much (or as little) as you’d like to know about the wines, winemakers and regions we’re featuring. Hope you can join us!

Our weekly tasting runs 12-3pm on Saturdays. Cost is $15. The tasting fee is waived with a purchase of any wine in the shop (not just tasting wines).

JUNE 2026:

June Top Picks
Saturday, June 6 (12-3pm)

Every month Portalis owner Jens Strecker selects his favorite wines for the season, and on the first Saturday of the month, we taste a selection of those wines.

For June, join us to taste: Charles de Cazanove Champagne Rosé (yes, the real deal!!), Isenhower Viognier (Columbia Valley), Gönc Rosé (Slovenia), R de Romaneira Tinta (Douro Valley, Portugal), and Chateau Fonsalade Saint Chinian Rouge (Languedoc-Roussillon, France). Great tasting! Hope you can join.

Cost is $15. (Fee waived with the purchase of any wine in the shop.)

June Wine Club – Pickup Tasting
Saturday, June 13 (12-3pm)

Join us to taste the wines in our May Wine Clubs. We have two: Portalis EXPLORES Wine Club (our everyday wine club) and our Portalis FLAGSHIP Wine Club (our premier club).

Our June EXPLORES club theme is Bordeaux, featuring a Bordeaux Blanc and a Médoc Cru Bourgeois. Our FLAGSHIP club theme is Northwest Spain, featuring an Albariño blend (Rias Baixas), a Mencia blend (Bierzo), and a Tempranillo (Ribera del Duero).

This pickup tasting is for our club members to taste and learn about their wines prior to enjoying them at home. Everyone is welcome to join.

Cost for non-club members is $15. (Fee waived with the purchase of any wine in the shop.)

German Beer & Wine
Saturday, June 20 (12-3pm)

Join us to taste this fun lineup from Germany: BEER = Radeberger (Dresden), DAB (Dortmund), Oberdorfer (Bavaria), Schöfferhofer (a grapefruit Hefeweizen from Frankfurt am Main), and Clausthaler (non-alcoholic beer, also from Dortmund). WINE = Weissburgunder (Rheinhessen) & Pinot Noir (Pfalz).

Cost for non-club members is $15. (Fee waived with the purchase of any wine in the shop.)

Taste 5 of Italy’s 2000 Grapes
Saturday, June 27 (12-3pm)

Last month we tasted 5 varietals from central and southern Italy. This time, the lineup has wines from northern Italy & the island of Sardinia: Cortese (Piedmont), Vermentino (Sardinia), Valpolicella rosé (Veneto - a blend of 3 grapes), Schiava-Lagrein (Alto Adige), and Dolcetto (Piedmont).

Cost for non-club members is $15. (Fee waived with the purchase of any wine in the shop.)

July Wine Club – Pickup Tasting
